Beginners knitting course for kids & adults

Welcome to fun, and interactive knitting lessons where kids or adults will learn the basics of knitting and make fun projects using the simplest of stitches. Join me on a fun knitting adventure, where we will transform colorful yarn into bracelets, potholders, and scarves, and much more.

What you will learn:

Week 1: 2 lessons (1 hour each, a total of 2 hours)

Knitting basics: learn to hold the knitting needles and start learning some of the basic stitches, including how to cast on and the first stitch called the knit stitch also known as the garter stitch. 

Week 2: 2 lessons (1 hour each, a total of 2 hours)

Review knitting basics and learn another stitch called the purl stitch. Then, we will create a potholder or cup cozy using this new stitch and the stitch we learned in class last week.

Week 3 & Week 4: 4 lessons (1 hour each, a total of 4 ho

These weeks we delve into a crochet project where we use all our crochet knowledge to create a beautiful scarf that will keep you nice and warm during the winter. If it is summertime we will delve into creating a stuffed animal. 

Private – 1 person

Semi-private – 2 people

Please note that once you have booked an appointment with us it means that we have reserved time in our schedule exclusively for you. If you cancel your appointment less than 24 hours before it is scheduled to take place, you will be subject to a fee of $30 or whatever the lesson amount is for your lesson.

To avoid a cancellation fee, please provide a cancellation notice at least 24 hours prior to your appointment.
